Zachary Lohman wins the National Life Group Do Good Fest® Beats for Good high school musician contest
ADDISON, Texas - (October 15, 2025) Zachary Lohman, a sophomore at L.D. Bell High School, is the grand prize winner of the 2025 Beats for Good high school musician contest and will open the National Life Group Do Good Fest® on Saturday, Oct. 18, a family-friendly ‘90s throwback benefit concert at Levitt Pavilion Arlington featuring Collective Soul, Tonic, and Fastball.
Mason Engler and Emilia Figueroa were first and second runners-up respectively.
Zach (pictured) garnered the most votes from the public with his video of Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 Prelude earning a $5,000 donation to his school’s music program, along with a $1,500 personal cash prize. First and second runners-up will receive $2,500 and $1,000 respectively for their school’s music program.
With Zach Lohman joining the lineup, family and friends can enjoy four separate performances for a minimum donation of $10, all in support of feeding North Texas kids.

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank and its Ready to Learn® initiative in support of kids and their families in North Texas. Advance tickets are required. Tickets can be reserved here for a minimum donation of $10 each.
Do Good Fest was founded upon National Life’s values of Do good, Be good and Make good. This is the fourth year National Life will hold Do Good Fest at Levitt Pavilion Arlington.
In addition to music, Do Good Fest will also have food and beverage trucks and an exclusive VIP lounge.
