How Beats for Good Works
High school musicians from Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and the Plattsburgh, New York region, submitted performance videos to a panel of expert judges, including:
- Ryan Miller of Guster
- Grace Potter of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
- Kathy Marchetti, music industry veteran (Taylor Swift, Pearl Jam, Noah Kahan)
- Music educators and local musicians
The panel selected 10 finalists, and now the public is invited to vote for their favorite performance. The winner and runners-up will be announced after June 8.
“We believe in creating a stage where young talent can shine—guided by world-class musicians, uplifted by community support, and inspired by the joy of sharing music,” said John Mullett, Director of Community Relations at National Life Group and longtime musician.
