Addison, TX (Sept. 8, 2026) – National Life Group, official life insurance partner of the Dallas Stars, today announced their branding in the ice-surface for the Dallas Stars during the 2026–2027 National Hockey League (NHL) season, beginning with the team's home opener on October 2.

The partnership marks the fourth consecutive season National Life Group and the Dallas Stars have worked together to engage fans through in-game experiences while supporting communities across North Texas through charitable initiatives.

“Our partnership with the Dallas Stars is about creating moments that make a lasting impact both on and off the ice,” said Christina D’Agostino, Community Relations Manager at National Life Group. “Whether we're supporting local nonprofits through the Stars Save Program or putting new books into the hands of students across North Texas, we're proud to invest in initiatives that strengthen our communities. It's one more way we bring our values of Do Good. Be Good. Make Good. to life.”

Beyond in-arena visibility, National Life Group and the Dallas Stars will continue investing in North Texas through programs focused on education, youth development and community impact.

Stars Save Program Returns for Fourth Season

The Stars Save Program returns for its fourth year with a simple premise: Every time a Dallas Stars’ goalie makes a save, National Life Group donates $5 into a pot up to $20,000 annually. At the conclusion of the season, National Life Group and the Dallas Stars jointly select a North Texas nonprofit organization to receive the funds and expand programs that benefit local families.

Since launching the initiative, the Stars Save Program has generated more than $50,000 in charitable giving throughout North Texas. During the 2024–2025 season alone, Dallas Stars goalies recorded 2,645 total saves, which equaled $13,225. The Dallas Stars Foundation donated the remaining pot for a total of $20,000 to the Tarrant Area Food Bank. In 2025-2026, 2,291 saves equaling $11,455 were recorded, with the charitable recipient for the season set to be announced in October. Previous recipients included Metrocrest Services, a Carrollton-based non-profit organization founded in 1971 that helps families, individuals, and seniors in crisis.

In addition, National Life Group will once again partner with the Dallas Stars Foundation to sponsor a Book Fair at a Dallas-Fort Worth Title I elementary school. Last year, every student at Barron Elementary School (Plano ISD) and Cedar Crest Elementary School (Dallas ISD) received three complimentary books of their choice, along with co-branded Dallas Stars Foundation and National Life Group giveaways. Additional books were also purchased for each school's library through the book fairs, helping expand access to reading resources for students.

“We are excited to expand on our relationship with National Life Group,” Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts said. “Their commitment to our community and partnership with the Dallas Stars Foundation have created a lasting impact in North Texas.”
