The ABR Chronic II rider allows the policy-owner to accelerate the death benefit on a discounted basis up to the IRS per diem limit once every 12-months upon the insured becoming chronically ill. Chronic Illness is defined as an inability to perform 2 or more of 6 Activates of Daily Living, or having a cognitive impairment. There is no premium for this rider. ABR Chronic II is only available in New York.
