Copying Illustration Inputs

Copying inputs from one illustration to a new illustration can save time when you need to create multiple illustrations with similar inputs.

1. Start an illustration.
   1. On the Go To menu, click Create a Product Illustration

      -or-

      On the Home page navigation pane, click New Illustration.

   2. On the Start New Illustration page, select the Source Information for the new case:
      1. In the list, select the Issue State for the owner of the policy or contract.
      2. In the list, select the Product Type that you are illustrating. Available products will then display in the Product Selection grid.
      3. In the list, select a Sales Concept.
   3. In the Product Selection grid, select the Product Name to illustrate.
2. Complete each section of the illustration, working from top to bottom and using the navigation pane links to go to sections of the illustration.
3. On the illustration page toolbar, click Copy To.
4. On the Copy To page, make selections in Source Information and then click a Product Name in the Product Selection list.

   A new illustration displays with applicable inputs from the original illustration.

5. Make necessary changes to the new illustration and click Save.

   To save a new illustration, do the following:

   1. On the toolbar, click Save.
   2. On the Save dialog box, type a Name in the box.
   3. In Folder Location, select an existing folder from the list.
   4. Click Save.
