Vitiello comes to National Life from Allianz of America, where he served as chief business development officer and chief marketing officer. Allianz of America is a holding company that oversees Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. Allianz of America is part of Allianz SE, one of the largest integrated financial services companies in the world, with operations in 70 countries.

Before joining Allianz Life in 2004, Vitiello was a senior vice president at MetLife, where he led the company’s field marketing and distribution division. At Met he also led the company’s marketing operation in London.
