In 1960 National Life became aware that no film existed that could be used in classrooms to help teach the history of Vermont. The company then undertook the production of this film which was made available at no charge to countless schools in Vermont and across the United States. Interestingly, the actor portrayed as inventing the electric motor was Henry Augustoni - a very long time employee of the company. His son David carries on and serves today as an Underwriter with National Life. We're sorry but this site requires the Macromedia Flash player Version 8 or above.
