The Independent Producer Alliance Division focuses on the sale of Life Insurance Company of the Southwest (LSW) annuity products. Agents in this division sell in both the qualified, 403(b) and 457 markets, as well as the non-qualified markets, such as IRAs, SEPs, SIMPLE and 401(k) plans. Of these markets, the 403(b) is the largest that produces sales primarily made to employees of any government entity, with the largest section being sales to school teachers in grades K-12. Sales in the non-qualified market account for approximately half of new premium. These sales are to retirement savers from all markets. LSW continually researches and addresses the financial and retirement needs of primary and secondary school teachers, with the goal of offering a comprehensive array of appropriate products and services.
